The area of the Kłodzko Land holds the largest in the country resources of therapeutic and mineral waters (acidulous springs, fluoride-sulphide hypothermal waters, radium active waters, Glauber type mineral waters), which are utilised for the needs of balneological health resorts and bottled in plants "Staropolanka", "Długopolanka" and "Mineral".

Over 12 thousand people can stay simultaneously in five health resorts located in the area of the Kłodzko Land. The area has over 20.000 places for tourists, with diversified standard, in modern conference places, hotels, pensions and sanatoriums, as well as mountain and youngster hostels.

For many ages the patients used to visit the springs in Kłodzko area. Along the southern edge of the Stołowe Mountains rich ferrous acidulous springs exist. Near a part of them known health resorts were established: Duszniki Zdrój, Kudowa Zdrój and the youngest of all: Polanica Zdrój.

In the eastern edge of the Kłodzko Land, near fluoride-sulphide and radon resources the oldest health resort developed - Lądek Zdrój. Its largest attraction is the natural treatment plant "Wojciech" stylised for a Turkish bath. Among the above health resort a small resort in Długopole Zdrój is located.
